Without control of the mind, our desires and distractions keep us far from our true nature.

By doing so, we allow ourselves to release the constant chatter of unnecessary thoughts, which often cause stress and confusion. With a calm mind, we can then connect with our soul, understanding our true purpose and gaining clarity on life’s path.

The more we feed into our desires without awareness, the more we are bound to them. Meditation helps us detach from these desires, allowing us to experience life without being consumed by our cravings and attachments. As the Bhagavad Gita, 2.52 states, “When your mind has overcome the bewilderment of delusion, you will become indifferent to all that is heard in the world.” Through this detachment, we learn to live in harmony with the world without being swayed by its constant distractions.
